Malawi School of Government (MSG) is a MIP-1 prioritised Malawi Government public sector reform initiative geared towards building capacity for national development. It was formed through an Act of Parliament No. 33 of 2022 (called the Malawi School of Government Act), which amalgamated the former Malawi Institute of Management (MIM) and the Staff Development Institute (SDI). The School started its operations following on 1st December 2022 following governments announcement of its commencement date.
